A one-sided ODI series does carry its drawbacks in terms of competitiveness, but it can shed light on the dominant team's progress which has been the case here. Recap the game in the report and follow the content from Ireland's tour into the T20Is here on ESPNcricinfo. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, and our scorers, Ranjith P and Binoy George.

The BCB president Nazmul Hasan hands the trophy to Tamim, who goes across to the banner. The players go up in cheers with beaming smiles as they pose for the photographs.

Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh Captain: Unbelievable. The way we played the whole series was very nice. The performances with the bat in the first two balls, we haven't done before. Now I can proudly say we have a solid, solid, solid fast-bowling department. Players like Miraz, when they start performing with the bat, we can go in with a batter short. We need to keep believing in our players, there will be ups and downs but we have the unit to be the best in the world. The wicket was very good, the way we chased down with authority was a message. Litton played very well. (On the pitches) If you remember, a few weeks ago, I said in a press conference that going forward, we will be playing on high-scoring wickets. Credit to the coach who has helped us develop this new way of playing. When you play on these wickets, you can end up surprising yourself with the results you can achieve.

Mushfiqur Rahim, POTS: Another series win, all the boys chipped in well which was great. The conditions were good in the first two games, the top order did well and set up situations where we could express ourselves. When you're an allrounder, you need to chip in with both bat and gloves, happy to have done it.

Hasan Mahmud, POTM: Grateful for everyone, very excited with the performance. The weather and conditions helped the fast bowlers, enjoyed bowling here. Allan Donald has been the one man who's been behind our improvement, the bowlers have improved gradually as well. We have been working hard on moving the new balls away and hitting our lengths.

Andrew Balbirnie, Ireland Captain: We're very disappointed. Don't think the cricket over the past three days reflects the type of cricket we've played in the last 2-3 years. We did expect spin to play a big part, but our defence with the bat wasn't good enough. We did not adapt well enough. We had a good T20 World cup in Australia, and will have to be a lot better to show up there. Our fielding has been okay, but it's been our batting that has let us down.

Time for the presentations.

redgwan: "@Birdman: in this match Shakib didn't even touch the ball."

Arfaa: "To show the extent of how all-rounded this BD performance has been, I can't think of any clear-cut Player of the Series - there are 4-5 good candidates. In the past, BD victories were dependent on one-man miracle shows. Now, as a BD fan, I am proud to say we finally have a strong team, not just a collection of individuals. "

Sanyat T: "I was heartbroken once by the BD openers against RSA while they were so close to clinch a 10-wicket victory. Finally the heart is fixed."

Zabed: "What a professional play by Bangladesh. Super pace bowling. Amazing Tigers!"

Birdman: "Is this the only Bangladesh win where Shakib didn't have to make any contribution with the bat or the ball - he didn't touch the bat or the ball?" Could very well be

6:17pm: Subdued celebrations and handshakes with the opposition players after through domination from Bangladesh's openers. It's the first time Bangladesh have won by ten wickets. Third-highest win by run rate among all successful chases, Among overs taken to win while chasing, this is the second lowest. It was a clinical performance with the bat by Tamim and Litton, the pace of Hume and Adair was not enough to cause any danger. Humphreys was taken down but he got a bit of exposure at the highest level. But some of the cover drives in this innings will be worth storing in the memory bank. Nothing really from the bowling.
